Actually she was the worst candidate and they knew it.
Polled poorly outside of their standard base of voters. Those outside voters added to her woes by highlighting her involvements over ther lifetime. He only thing going for her was she was a woman but thats hardly the reason to vote for her if she's not the best person.
We would already be in WW3 if she had managed to be elected and if it were short of that she would have us in many more engagements around the globe.
