Motives are the only reason we take any type of action, exist, or do anything consciously or unconsciously. If we do not understand what motivates people we
will find it difficult to motivate anyone or understand why people act, function, or do anything. All people are motivated by the same motives. We can only motivate people by satisfying their motives.
