I joined because

1. The troopers are a respectable group, and I've respected them for a long time.
2. I wanted to try it, because I was curious how the group works.
3. I had a couple freinds in the troopers at the time, so I wanted to fit in kinda
4. I felt like I'd be an okay trooper I guess
