What does this have to do with furries besides that a furry posted it? I'M a part of the LGBTQ+ community and like to support the LGTQ+ and anthropomorphic furry community.

I have grandparents who are very very kind people... They are homophobic and they know I'm gay. They may not approve or understand but they don't love me any less and I understand that it's not their fault the way they were raised... I just want everyone to know that homophobes sometimes just can't understand and that we should fight to educate young people and not hurt the ones who are set int heir ways. I just can't bring myself to hate my grandparents... even if people think I should

Interesting, truth is. We shouldn't hate those who can't accept us, if they can't. It doesn't mater, we don't have to change because they feel like we should. We should be our ownself

👏That is very true, Most of homophobes are because they're not used to it, It's new to them and it seems strange, It's not their fault, Someone should've mentioned it to them while the were being raised, They're still nice people, But, You should teach them about it, How it can be a good thing and how most people feel about it, No one really hates homophobes, We just think they're annoying XD, Explaining what they should've known a long time ago may make them love you even more. :)

True that, imagine you were in a world where everyone was doing something one way, and you go somewhere else and they are doing it differently. In truth, they are probably confused, but accepting if someone they love does things the other way too.

I do a lot in the furry stream but I tend to avoid LGBTQ+ because a lot of people don't agree with me and I've been screamed at by LGBTQ+ members just because I don't wanna kill all the homophobes or don't support everything they say... I'm hoping to become more active here though
