Your 2021 wheat crop will be insured for $5.54 per bushel which is up significantly from last year’s price of $4.86.Your 2021, the USDA has announced a new option for all grain crops and cotton. It is called "Quality Loss Option" and gives you the option of using your actual production in the calculation of your yields instead of a quality adjusted yield. Please call us if you have any questions. With the harvest season in full stride, remember to let us check your production even if you don't think you have a loss. And remember, we must be notified of a loss within 15 days after completion of harvest. The only exception to this USDA rule is if you have a revenue loss only, then you have 45 days. If there are any changes in your marital status, Partnership Agreements, LLC's or Corporation status including removing or adding individuals from a partnership, LLC or corporation please notify us by September 30.
