That isn't a land fish, it's actually a type of fish known as the mudskipper, which goes on muddy land to create dens to fill with water to create a tiny home. In the wild, a male mudskipper builds a reasonably sized chamber filled with water and goes off to find a mate in the vicinity of the mud flats. Males are often coloured bluish to attract a mate.
Mudskippers skip and hop across land, giving them their name, and they are about 12 inches. They can be found from Africa to Polynesia and even Australia, and are perfectly harmless. There are 32 species of Mudskippers and they can be eaten. They are quite territorial, so they space out their dens quite fairly.
