So I’m just sitting in my room, doing homework, and my mom just calls up and says “you need to pick a club, preferably (which means it has to be) a community service club.” Then when I ask her why and that I really don’t want to look at the list right now she gets angry, tells me to look at the list and hangs up to call my dad. (This is the part where I found out that my school is actually forcing every 9th grader to join a club) So my dad comes in to talk about why I don’t want to join a club which turns into AN HOUR LONG LECTURE ABOUT SOCIAL SKILLS! And now I have about an hour to pick 4 clubs and finish my homework. Great.
