Wow. It deeply saddened me to read those tweets. As a devout Christian I can tell you that what that man says is quite simply not true and Christianity will never grow to be that way. It seems to me like these Christian teachings were given in a non-public school setting, so it is allowed, but I really hope that they were not these white male dominate, nationalist teachings that this man speaks of, because that not only isn’t what Christianity is about, it’s not how this country was founded. No religion, not Christianity, not evolution, not the history of any religion, should be taught in any public school, because it is simply too biased and false, so I really hope these teachings were not in a public setting. As far as the whitewashing goes, I didn’t see much of that other than the guy basically saying the goal of this country when created was for white male dominancy, which I have yet to seen evidence of.
