Video games do not cause violence, just as guns do not cause mass shootings. Violent video games and violent content have been correlated with violent behavior. There's a difference between thus and saying that video games cause violence. Bacon does not cause eggs, but bacon and eggs often appear on the same plate. That's correlation.
