I'm not sure what "very early on" means. First and second trimester abortions are safe and medically sound.

It's a moral and philosophical issue. Abortion should not be allowed unless there is a good medical reason (damger to life of mother, serious congenital defects or in cases of rape and incest). Early on meaning a stage at which the fetus is not fully formed yet and cannot live outside the womb artificially.

I have never voted pro or against abortion because there hasn't been a law that represents my view on it and it's something that will never affect me personally (hopefully). But having seen pictures of babies aborted at full term due to "club foot" or other dumb reasons, I find the more in your face "pro choice" arguments and language quite stomach churning and amoral.

It is a legal issue, not a theoretical philosophy exercise.

I am for abortion access before viability without question. A woman's bodily autonomy is absolute before viability.

Family planning, including birth control, sex education, and abortion access are critical to the health and well being of a society.
