but we don't have time to whine about freedom and such. if people just wore masks to start with, we wouldn't have to have this problem. People don't care about their freedom when whining about the masks. They just say that so people don't know they don't like seeing one.

But we’re still not sure if the mask even works. I personally think they don’t; when I’m at work dust gets through the thickest mask I own (equivalent to 2 masks) so how should it stop a microscopic virus? I simply wear it in courtesy to those around me.

It's not 100 percent efficient, but along with social distancing and avoiding crowds it reduces the risk of getting/giving the virus.
