(Ok why did imgflip add an “Add Image” feature for comments-)

Because they want you to add an image like you do with memes, but with you having to copy and paste a link which would probably take longer. But this could be a way of adding gifs to comments, I'll check that out.

I tried it, and it didn't work. So when it comes to adding gifs, this new feature is pretty pointless.
