Follow other streams like MEMES_OVERLOAD, frontpage, and all. Those streams let you post instantly. You don’t have to wait for a moderator.
It’s also important to respect the community etiquette. Here’s what I’ve learned so far:
1. Don’t comment on a meme without upvoting it.
2. Upvote comments before you reply to them.
3. There isn’t a correlation between how long it takes to get a meme featured and the quality of your meme. It has more to do with the number of active moderators and the number of pending submissions. (Or so I’ve read.)
4. Some members live and die by upvotes—to the point that they’ll beg for them...so, they had to make a special stream specifically for upvote begging. So, upvote EVERYTHING that you enjoy...it makes their day.😀
5. There might be some bot action going on here...so, if you see a piece of shit meme with 40,000 views and hundreds of upvotes, it could be because of a bot. So, don’t get depressed or anything.
I’m still learning things from the imgflip stream, and the imgflip news stream too.
Hope this helps!
