What gets on my nerves is when people call others transphobic for criticizing trans people who did something wrong.

I remember I saw this online argument about how one guy was a gunman who killed 24 children, and someone defended him saying he was the victim because he was trans. Other people disagreed, because how is being trans linked to committing mass murder?

Worst part is, as long as they're in a minority, some people will defend them and accuse the other person for a hate crime they didn't commit

anyways, you're not doing anything wrong. Calling someone transphobic because of another reason is equivalent to calling someone racist for not liking a POC

You answered your own question there. If you don't hate them for being trans that's not transphobic. You do not have to like every trans person to not be transphobic. As long as you still accept their gender identity it's fine. Just don't misgender them on purpose just because you don't like them - that would be very rude and could be interpreted as transphobic behavior.

I assume that this neighbor is a trans guy from the pronouns you use. If you’re willing to use he/him and my assumption is correct, you’re definitely not transphobic

Also if the guy is a moron and rude, you’re allowed to hate him

I keep using he/him because I use those pronouns for girls, boys, trans, non binary, everyone. It's a habit . I just hate the damn kid
