Maybe they should have hung out a sign on the cargo ships, saying "This Cotton Was Picked By White People".
Do you think The Union Army would allow them to sail to Europe, then?
Or do you think it would be as ineffective as the car dealership who wrote "Black Lives Matter" on their sign, but was burned down anyway?

The fact remains, if the English hadn't imported slaves to the English Colonies there would, in all probability, be no slavery issue to fight over. Not that the Civil War was about slavery, exclusively. There were many reasons that the South seceded from the Union.
