-3: There have been many people who have commented on how uncannily similar Rowling's writings are to Tolkien's.
Sauron almost took over the entire world. Three times. Voldemort tried to take over a high school and failed.
, 9, 8, 10, & 12 (you really like repeating your points, don't you?): I understand that what people enjoy reading is more of a point of personal preference, but really, if you sum up the entire plots of the two respective works (yes, I understand there is a difference between an overall plot and a story), HP really is just about kids who dabble in magic and destroy an evil wizard in the process, while LOTR is about the salvation of the world from the clutches of incarnate evil.
, 7 & 11: There is a difference between having characteristics that many people consider ideal, and being moral. Yes, in Dumbledork's case, wisdom, kindness, and justice are important, but is he really displaying them in a Godly way?
I will go ahead and mention that most of those other things are excusable, were it not for the theological issues and the crass morality.
