The Royals don’t have a lot of money to play around with and we sold off a lot of prospects in 14 and 15 going for the World Series. They are most likely not going to make the playoffs this season and we’re very unlikely to go to the World Series but they have a shot at contending in a couple years and there is a good chance they are setting up for the next couple years. Also the Royals got a new manager.
