All of my classes have been the exact opposite! The teacher could be muted for multiple minutes, and no one would say anything. Then, you don't want to be that kid... so you wait for someone else to say something. Usually, someone says something though, quietly, barely audible, and the teacher is like "So when did I mute?" and the class doesn't want to say anything because it's been a couple of minutes.
