Data and death tolls skewed? If anything, they are skewed low - the current admin has ordered the CDC to stop collecting and disseminating this data to avoid dealing with the staggering casualties.

Medicine is pretty advanced, as my own coverage of the healthcare system has documented. They can tell if someone died of COVID-19 or something else, and are constrained by law and medical ethics to report those tolls accurately.
