okay, to those of you who dont know, as hogwarts term starts at september 1, students turning 11 before sept 1 are allowed, since harry turned 11 just before september(july 31st), it meant that he was amongst the youngest in his batch, while herione was born on september and turns 12 on september 19th(if she was born 18 days ago, she would have attended the school one year earlier than harry!!!), this makes her one of the oldest students in her batch(and probably in 20 years[thats my guess]). so if harry turned 11 after september, and hermione turned 12 before september, they would have a gap of two years...
