Pike: Depends on the sickness, for fade sickness we take DNA samples and map the brain of the Patient to make a life support suite. Magic can get in the way of electricity And technology since it warps the laws of physics that technology is based on so it is hard work. We have to start with small devices that counteract the Fade sickness and slowly build on them so it doesn’t fight back. Eventually when we are finished they can live a full life

Pike: It’s hard work, every instance of the fade sickness effects it’s victim in a slightly different way. People from all over the kingdom send their kids here and we can’t always save them *he sighs*

Slightly different way? So you have to come up with a new way to fix it every time someone gets infected? That's tough.
