Correct,
But if u really get into it, u see that it's only the mindless mainstream rappers that truly glorify drugs.
It's not the case with our MC's, u will find Eminem and Lil Wayne talk a lot about it but they'd never support it; with them, it's usually about struggling with addiction and trying to rebuild themeslves. J. Cole, Wayne, Eminem, Kid Cudi have all talked about discouraging that culture in Hip-Hop.
It's usually people like Lil Pump and 6ix9ine who proudly flaunt that shit. And they're not Afro-Americans, they are more famous than most Afro-American artists.

-As loosing hype over his name, Eminem said about struggle addiction (words included 'methodone' but perhaps just liquid/tablet form how therapy); yesterday I'm searched for acid info in net & some of news was with Wayne annotation (link was big & don't openly showed as 'guilty cause been involved). Cudi's clip, 'Day'nNight' watching, may collect similar how psychedelics stuff experienced (however maybe just much of creative work). Trully, we should to dismiss any consumption even if it has place in past. 50 cent said clearly, was dealer. May to continue but need to go walk, the moon shining bright over the river bridge.

In his last song with Eminem THE ADVENTURES OF MOON MAN AND SLIM, Kid Cudi talked about "... years ago, rehab, all good help me figure out another plan..."

Cudi said that he tried drugs to help with depression but found out they didn't help, and he had to lose it

Lil Wayne, is famous for being on Lean all the time, a common drug, but now he's said that after he was hospitalized because of it he's trying to tackle addiction

That's how the black community is with rappers, but that's how they've lived all their life, Vince Staples and Maxo Kream were drug dealers and real gangsters but now they rap about all that being past, and use it for their career in Hip-Hop

-Rock bottom is grabbing all which make you man, each characteristics, leaving with withdrawal etc. pain condition. Loosing great chances for being successful, but saving remembered details which at last, could to be manipulation as hidden from common work class society's sight. How funny stuff, may be transferred into money flow like protecting innocent life's wellgoing way, not for step rusty take. Much of habitats are holding position in this theme, not easy for competitive, great community with their private laws to be invited, Italian's mafia around music stage. I loved spelled rhymes ODB, but OD... so unfair, too often happened above creating verses activity!
