The DNC never wanted a Bernie nom in ‘16 or ‘20 so unless there was a huge outpouring (there wasn’t) of support, he wasn’t getting picked. There was very vocal support but not enough to sway leadership. We’ve all made our peace with that. A Sanders presidency would’ve at best been tempered by a centrist Dem-controlled House and Senate and outright stonewalled by a GOP-controlled Senate.

In the last 20 years there has been 1,290 cases of mail in voter fraud. This is alarming.

I've been a poll worker, and your understanding of absentee ballots is flawed. Whether requested or not, you have to sign them and so does the person who delivers them, and who has voted is recorded, so if a person tries to vote more than once, they're caught. Mail-in ballots are much more secure than in-person voting on electronic macines.

I don't disagree with you that they may be more secure than electronic voting machines. People forge signatures, people misplace mail, but those machines are a whole other problem.
Voting needs to be put on a block chain, there's a few startups trying to do this but they're dismissed by both parties.

Such concerns are, multiple ballots sent to one individuals, ballots sent to deceased and filled out by someone else, multiple ballots sent to multiple addresses for an individual, stolen ballots filled out..
Absentee ballots only help to eliminate some of these issues. B being requested every election the voter has to verify identity and address, one ballot is sent to a single address to a person who is verified to be a living person.
