There is one reasonably good thing. Most people like shinies because they are rare, so you can trade them for something that actually is a good Pokemon that has great stats. For example, you can trade away a shiny Magneton for something like a Celebi. (I don't know if it is accurate, I don't play the Pokemon games.)

Well true, I usally have a good team even if they are not all legendarys or mythicals
