plus it makes me wonder if Jesus is and always has been GOD and GOD is all powerful and all knowing and all good and always has been, and GOD/Jesus could have prevented anything ever from happening had said Entity/Entities chose to, including the crucifixion of Itselves, did Jesus and GOD use ponchus pilot romans and wood and atoms and the universe and stuff to commit suicide on Cavalry, or no, and does whether Jesus rose to Heaven afterwards still alive, but without body, play into whether Jesus ever died at all, and if so, then wouldn't it be not a suicide/tripleormoremurder therefore anyway? are we supposed to try 2 'be like GOD' in part, or whole, etc.? why didn't/doesn't GOD if there was/is such a thing, stop the Devil from being, or being bad, if there's a Devil, etc...as in if there's an all good all knowing all powerful GOD, then wouldn't it be logical to argue there's no hierarchy in value twixt stuff, from war to peace, punching to hugging, cuz it's all preeternity infinitely ago and then some preapproved by GOD, as part of GOD's plans, whether 'mysterious ways' or not, part of GOD's will, whether GOD allowed or allows for so called free will of humans, which which particles of humans have free will if any etc...determinism or not, randomism or order, truth vs. Truth vs. neither, etc...i love it, tryin' to figure it out, enjoy wondering, searching, hypothesizing, asking, theorizin, etc...the journey is the destination sorta' thing at least to some degree anyway theoretically, but that doesn't mean i don't also wish 2 actually know the TRUTH on the, or any, matter. either way, the universe existing at all from some point on or from forever ago, with or without factoring GOD into it, makes not 'logical earthly rational sense' , 'seems impossible either way', and yet i just wrote that, and you just read it, and so perhaps, if so, at least one miracle is runnin' freeeeeeee, regardless, and amongst many other things, fraggle rock ROCKS! thanks for stoppin' by and commenting as opposed to not, and as opposed to hunting me down and kidnapping me and taking me to istanbul only to bury me in a casket filled with rhino dung and sealing it up and dropping me in a volcano. it remains sweet of you that you avoided that activity, and i'm forever grateful to you for your having never done that to me. be well, and regardless whether you voted, or you you voted for, may all the wishes you've made that are worth coming true, come true! wordoftheday? I totally agreed with the things you said about religion/god being a conundrum within itself and mostly gives us more questions the deeper we go than answers.
I love the fact that you got Fraggle Rock in there too, I used to love that show as a kid, anything Jim Henson does is absolute genius.
My friend believe me when I say I would never hunt you down and kidnap you to put you in a casket full of rhino dung and drop you in a volcano in Istanbul ( or anywhere else ) .. how’s about this instead, our minds as kindred spirits take a mystical journey together throughout the universe irrespective of space, time, & matter where we shall experience all wonder, unlock the mysteries and fully appreciate existence in it’s entirety all the while rejoicing in each other’s company (and maybe discovering the real Fraggle rock 😉👍 .. now that would be a bonus )

Labyrinth, etc...the prolly neverending story and then emmet otter's jugband Christmas, and speaking of Christmas, have a totally tubular one this year, safely! avoid meteorites and rabid wolver-dingos and reanimated Aucasauruses!

May I share a story with you that I heard on YouTube during early lockdown ?
Please excuse any bad spelling or punctuation.
It is a quick story told by a (although born in Africa he was white, of European parentage) ex-soldier in the Rhodesian army.
He and his comrades had been in the bush for several days and where tracking spoor of enemy terrorist fighters.
The spoor lead them to a village in a deep rural area and they decided to enter it.
The villagers weary of both sides in the war upon seeing soldiers of either side tended to flee and stay indoors ( men, women & children alike ) .. & it was the same this time too.
The soldier harshly beaten by the African sun, fatigued, & dirty, rested wearily against the side of one of the mud huts.
Then from out of the corner of his eye caught movement across the dirt path that ran through the middle of the village, he raised his weapon directly at the movements direction.
But to his surprise he saw not a enemy fighter or even an adult of the village, but a young girl of maybe 10-ish years old carrying a jug & 2 cups.
The girl approached confidently with a smile and sat herself down a few feet away facing the stood soldier.
She placed the cups on the floor in front of her and poured water into both of which one she sipped from smiling each time she removed the cup from her lips.
She raised her free hand open toward the soldier then lowered it an placed it flat on the floor.
He immediately knew she wanted him to sit with her.
He sat and drank the much need and appreciated water.
As he drank she slowly raised herself to her feet and gently placed one hand on his shoulder and slowly poured the remaining water in her cup over the back of the soldiers head and neck to cool him.
NO words where exchanged as both didn’t speak each other’s language but the soldier knew that he usually had some boiled sweets that he could give to the girl.
Alas the sweet had all been used up in the previous days in the bush and there where none to give the girl.
Once the soldier had finished his drink she gently took the cup from his hand waved a goodbye smiled and picked up the jug and other cup and immediately went to the next bedraggled, stinking of sweat, forlorn looking soldier in the squad and repeated her charity.
At this point the first soldier had an epiphany.
Even if he had the sweets ( or bars of gold for that matter )to give it wouldn’t have mattered to her ...

..That her compassion wasn’t a trade & that she also proved in those moments that she had all she needed in life to be one of its winners.
•She had had the confidence to approach the soldiers in the first place- even though everyone else was hiding.

• she had shared a precious resource-because she understood the needs of the situation.

• and her demeanour throughout one of maternal caring- not caring that these where men of war ... but men in need.

She freely gave them two things they had been lacking in for days.
water & A FRIENDLY FACE.

Of all the that soldiers memories of the war ( the firefights, hardships, dying comrades, medals, etc ) he says this is one of the ones that comes back the most & he often wonders what that little girl is doing now.. hoping that she has never lost that thing inside that makes her one of the few winners in life.

that's totally awesome; reminds me of mother teresa's 'be kind anyway'...and of 'gunga din'...though the world be dark and times and full of pain and fight it's also full of little girls and boys so full of light that even when they grow up they still work to make things right. what a cosmos! thanks for sharing that touching and poignant and ever relevant story! i hope lots of people read it.
