My iPhone 6 chooses not to charge and it takes a century for my phone to charge while it takes like 5 seconds for it to die.

That problem is natural since the older the phone battery is, the longer it takes to charge, and it doesn't last as long. But some blame is on apple for over charging for a battery replacement.
