This is why I destroy the silverfish spawner in the end, so I don't have to deal with these annoying mobs, Why are they even called silverfish? They don't look like any fish I've ever seen.

Because they're giant insects. Silverfish are real bugs but nowhere near as nasty as the ones in Minecraft.

Oh, I didn't know. But that now that raises even more questions like, who named them that and why? I guess we'll never know.
