this is most likely the case because of how the majority of the world viewed nerds in the 70s - today. they dont understand the jokes, the isolation, or the interest. dont worry, geeks get lumped into this too.

by 2010 nerds and geeks were beginning to look like the in-crowed, which was annoying, but stereotyping continued. if your in the category as i am, you will accept the notion. i did when i went to a nerd/geek college. its a fun culture to be a part of. good luck.

I agree. Nerds aren't nervous, annoying, or mumbling. They are people who are smart and enjoy things that normal people don't enjoy so much like DND. I want to start a petition about this.
