BULLSHIT ALERT

ANYONE, and I mean anyone, can get an ID in the US. It isn't hard, and it isn't discriminatory.

At least you warned us what was coming.

That was truly bullshit though, as the fact is that Republicans in several states once prohibited from unconstitutionally restricting access to the ballot box by the Voting Rights Act (Texas, Alabama, Georgia, etc), and now some that weren't (North Dakota), have openly passed targeted restrictions on both voting and access to official documentation that disproportionately affects minority communities.

Not only that, but across the south, they've also closed more than a 1200 polling places, mostly in those same communities, in an effort to drive away those who are able to make their way through the labyrinth to acquire proper identification.

America ONCE had slaves and a host of other bad laws. Those days have been over decades.
Welcome to 2020

America not only has a host of bad laws right now, there's been a surge of them from Republican "think tanks" being passed in state houses nationwide with nothing more than a rubber stamp by lawmakers.

Since SCOTUS killed the VRA in 2013, hundreds of these discriminatory laws aimed at reducing minority voter participation and representation have been passed at the state level wherever Republicans willing to rubber stamp unconstitutional legislation are for sale.
