You can't arrest an antifa member simply for joining the group based on the fact that some of the antifa members have committed violence. For example, you can't arrest an avowed white nationalist just because some white nationalists have been known to be violent. That's a violation of the 1st and 4th amendments of the constitution. It looks like you are the enemy of a free and liberal democracy.

No, again, police can't arrest you simply for joining a white nationalist group, even if that group is known to be violent. That's not probable cause. Same thing goes for Antifa. And no, I don't support antifa because I'm a proponent of peaceful protests. However, that doesn't mean I think every single antifa member should be arrested even if they haven't commited a crime. There are still antifa members who are nonviolent. By arresting every single member of a political group just because a portion of that group is violent, it means you are an authoritarian who doesn't support the Constitution.

I would add a little bit more nuance to that.
Russia and Prussia were close allies but by 1941 there was little friendship between them despite the non-agression pact Hitler and Stalin signed in '39.
The old Russian elite was decimated since the russian civil war and the great terror in the 30's.
The german generals that admired Russia were replaced during the war...
