A cashless society would be an absolute nightmare. We really need to bring back bullion as a backup incase the government ever gets out of hand and decides that the 'wrong' people should have their accounts frozen.

Accounts will be frozen, disappear or be filled to the brim daily , your movements will be recorded and known 24/7 by your purchases and they STILL (somehow) won't be able to catch the actual criminals.
