Nike workers in Vietnam earned between $0.61 and $0.89 per hour, according to SNOPE's research, while they were trying to debunk the news story which claimed they make 20 cents an hour. A June 2017 report by The Guardian also revealed that more than 500 workers in four factories supplying to Nike, Puma, Asics and VF Corporation in Cambodia had been hospitalized due to working conditions. The brands confirmed that the incidents occurred. Most of the workers fainted due to high temperatures and long work hours (NewsWeek, July 7,2020); EVEN IF IT MEANS SWEATSHOPS AND CHILD LABOR.
