Some context:
Around 1892, the Katipunan or "Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng mga Anak ng Bayan" was formed. It was a society formed by Phillipinos who fought against Spanish colonialism for independence.
They called themselves the KKK, for short.
The other KKK was formed in North America as a white supremacist hate group against African-Americans,Jews and Immigrants. Recently they have started to fight against LGBT people, Leftists, and Catholics, which is Ironic.
