2016 was never really a bad year to begin with IMO.

A lot of celebrities died. Plus oh, it was a pretty bad year for me personally

Well, that’s a lame excuse. A group of celebrities died, boo hoo. The thousands of starving children that died of hunger? Or all those ISIS attacks that wrecked people's lives? Nah, let's complain about wealthy people who have lived long lives of luxury suddenly dying instead.

Not trying to sound callous, just saying. Plus, the COVID pandemic affected all of us, myself included, more than any of those deaths did.

And at least in 2016, the economy was booming, people were in school and work, and even if you disagreed with Trump, he still wasn’t technically President until 2017. I don’t see any reason 2016 was such a bad year, as celebrity deaths don’t count. For me personally, it was pretty mundane.

It's like I always say, If everyone lived forever, the world would get super crowded and our resources would deplete in a heartbeat

For the record, 1987 saw a lot of deaths of a similar caliber.
