Tell that to Millions of UNION workers..
as a whole, Union workers are the Biggest owner of stocks (or was until China started buying us up)

Which is why it should be alarming that rates of unionized employment has nosedived in the past forty years and employment benefits tied to the stock market have been absolutely slashed over the same time period.

it has nosedived because the Good Union Factory jobs have gone bye bye thanks to Bush Sr and Backstabber Bill Clintons NAFTA..Not to mention GE is now 100% made in China Thanks to Jeff Immelt (you know who's Job czar he was).

But you are right about the 40 yrs.. Its Both parties that have f**ked the american worker.
Trump was even guilty of that himself having his neckties made there. But at least he tried to re-work NAFTA. Every Potus b4 him is guilty of helping Nafta along going all they way back to Carter.

As long as the point stands that the stock market is not the magic beacon that signals that everything is good.

I can agree with that at times..

What we really do need, is Manufacturing here
The more we make, the more Revenue we all have..
and I am sure you will agree that It will cut down on ocean pollution.

China is the biggest offender of Ocean pollution in the world (all of Asia in general)
The more we make here, the better its taken care off. China doesnt care and they lie about everything.

That's as close to a truce as we'll ever get so I'll take it. Not sure what your logic is with ocean plastic - we'll throw away just as much crap made domestically as we currently do imported. Anyone who thinks the United States has been a model of environmental responsibility really hasn't been paying attention.

"Not sure what your logic is with ocean plastic" again, if we made stuff here, our companies must follow epa guidelines etc etc.

China by far is the biggest offender of this, by moving manufacturing back to USA it
A=Helps USA workers
B- US gov gets revenue off taxes etc
C Less pollution because china just dumps it in the ocean unchecked.(look up the numbers yourself, especially plastics)

But we'll keep throwing crap away, and they'll keep throwing their own crap away in Asia, so what difference does it make to the ocean which factory made the crap?
0 ups, 4y
the difference is the volume, 1000 to 1.

we(USA and the world) should recycle everything

I don't think you're applying enough critical thinking to things you hear about.

Good enough for Japan
