plus there's the constitution and the 'laws' and 'senate' and 'congress' and 'presidential executive orders' and 'veto powers of the 'supreme' court and others' and 'the voice of the people' as well as the electoral college and so on...is it that America is MANY kinds of governance rather than merely a democracy, which whether it is or not is debatable, same with oligarchy or republics or gerontocracy or socialist or communist etc.? does it not in many ways fit the def of all those, and yet, also not completely any of them, and or so on, and which is perhaps more important to ask than what it, or any nation, is, oughtn't we ask, how 'should' nations 'be' or 'be governed' even more so? should people swear to uphold the constitution (at any cost no matter what always without exception) or is it obviously right to blow it off and ignore it at certain times, and if not swear to uphold the constitution, than swear to uphold what? justice? by whose standards, and what makes anyone's right all the time to go by, if anything? goodness? what's good to do in every context for every one in the context of their own lives right now, and good for who, some, one, or all the people? is anyone or thing in charge or are there billions of things in relative charge, in relative leadership and followship? what's the most valuable color or sound or sight, if there is one? final bonus question...does pinocchio's nose grow within five seconds of saying, 'my nose will grow and not grow in the next five seconds!'?
