Yes, but I suggest you do some Googling to research it yourself, too. It's always best to verify and then trust what you are told. Here is a link to one of the many articles about Dr. Matteo Basseti's claims that C19 is rapidly weakening:

Also, feel free to research the doctor's credentials. He is extremely reliable and is a leading doctor in the field of infectious diseases. Also, he's essentially got more experience dealing with C19 than anyone else on the face of the Earth. Why? Because he lives and practices in Italy - one of the hardest hit countries. He has no incentive to claim that the virus has significantly weakened, and continues to do so. People are slamming him for reporting the facts. People with agendas. People who have something to gain by keeping the public so paranoid about C19. People like the wonderful politicians in the USA.
Then, you've got things like the CDC's website, and everything they report to the media. They, like the WHO, have backtracked on so many C19-related things that their data and conclusions need to be taken with several grains of salt. However, what they report is still mostly factual. Check out this C19 page on the CDC website:

Lots of interesting stuff there. The CDC did estimate the C19 mortality rate in early June 2020, and at 0.26%. They base that number off of a lot of factors. However, other sources have said even that number is severely inflated. It counts people who were dying of cancer, who then died, and tested positive for C19 antibodies after-the-fact. Case in point would be Elizabeth Warren's 86-year old brother who was battling cancer and had been admitted to the hospital for pneumonia in February. The guy was nearly on his deathbed before he tested positive for C19, yet they still count his death as a C19 death. There are MANY more cases like this. No one on the face of the Earth will ever know the true mortality rate, but I'd be willing to bet my life that it is below 0.1%. I understand what 0.1% is, too. I'm not some dummy who thinks it is nothing. I understand that 0.1% of 7 billion is 7 million, which is a large number...however, the entire world will never get C19.
Currently, every day there are 360,000 babies born. 7 million ain't that big of a deal.
