Hey, no prob. Many reasons that cause these delays or no responses, unless you're on here all your waking hours I miss some too.
I find when no one of the intended target responds it's a meme that got it's mark. So you have a direct hit I would say.

I made a bunch that I never added b/c I only recently discovered this feature. I wish they had icons like thumbs ups. I always forgot to check the area where notifications are. I don;t even know if this app exists on a phone so only when I am on a PC do i use it

Normally if I access on the phone etc i do it through the browser which gives you same options as on Pc.
The best way to give some acknowlegement that you have read any comment is to give an up vote at the side of comment.
Then if you dont get too respond or don't have anything to add whether it's because of no time or no reason to respond the commenter will usually know that it's been read.
When I first came on here people said it was a courtesy to just upvote a comment so I have generally just done that and the commenter gets a point too, it's something for those motivated to chase points I guess.

Also I forgot to mention that, sometimes others will downvote certain comments usually on disliked comment and if enough downvotes are given then a comment may appear as hidden under low rated. It's still their just click on header (low rated comment).
