Yes but you have to drink water and eat if you are going to stay alive. So try again, you don't need vaccines to live, generally speaking.

There is a certain insect that bites people every year, and the people who get bitten contract a disease that has a high fatality rate. However, a new bug spray has been discovered that is chemically safe and is scientifically proven to prevent most of the insects from biting you, thus dramatically decreasing the number of people who contract the disease and the people who die from it. Because if this, the life expectancy of the general population has steadily increased. As an added benefit, if many people spray the bug spray, it protects those who cannot or have not sprayed it. However, a very small, insignificant portion of the people who spray the bug spray develop a freak allergic reaction. Due to this fact, the bug spray is bad.

Yeah okay, that sounds like DDT. Have you heard of this pesticide? It was very effective at killing mosquito and the diseases they carry (Malaria,Denque Fever etc). Some say it was too effective because it reduced death rates throughout the under developed world so much that too many people were living.
So they then pushed that it was building up in nature and would give us cancers the world over. This resulted in it being banned worldwide. It is still made in certain SE asian coutries without permissions. It's unfortunate that it isn't available and I'm not sure how substantiated the negative claims against it were but it could be used to take out any pest insect.

They overwhelmingly decrease your chances of dying from a deadly disease and in large numbers, vaccinated people help the immuno compromised people who can't be vaccinated. Please tell me you're not an antivaxxer too.

Not anti but certainly not for compulsory vaccinations which is a different subject.
For example I wouldn't take a Covid 19 Vaccination if they tried to force it into us. The influenza vaccines are rarely more than 15% effective so I dont think we really would get much if any benefit either in the case of Covid 19.

I also think that given the concerns of some for vaccine safety there should be an option to delay administering any vaccines on children until 2 years old (practised in Japan) unless the mother is likely to have infected them with forms of hepatitis etc, in which case it should still be pushed. Japanese statistically have not had much variance in autism over the years which is something the anti vaxxer cite as a long term side effect of vaccines. Whilst U.S and many other countries report significant increases in Autism.
So for what that is worth, if a 2 year delay option would be enacted it would allow (provided sufficient numbers of people choose to delay until 2 years) for some kind of meaningful statistics to be gleaned out of the data as to whether autism is exacerbated by what is contained in vaccines. Which of course would lead to more definitive and factual statements about what if any damage is caused in that area. Vaccines can do harm, the stated argument is that on balance they do good.

I'll have to research the cases for and against compulsory vaccination though; I haven't really researched that deep into that subject.

Yeah well alot of the for and against is personal choice. And you should be choosing what goes into your sovereign body.
