PC is not manners. Are you another leftist trying to change the definintions of things. Because that's what I'm reading.
PC corrupts manners and inserts special words and wording. Manners is just about not making another person uncomfortable. Not about protecting them from harsh words. Someone with good manners would likely not call another stupid. Not because they dont think they are necesarily but because they know it would make them uncomfortable.
I see how you think they are the same but one is an extension of manners designed to inhibit what words are spoken to illicit the similar response to exhibiting good manners. Good manners rely on suppressing speaking the words not suppressing the words from vocabulary.
