If you erase history it repeats itself.

I don’t want to erase history. I’m trying to show why black Americans consider it racist and prefer it not to fly by the American flag.

But if you remove the flag people will forget. You have to remember the countless lives that were lost to fight for their freedom. It's not racist it's in remembrances for the son, fathers, and families that were divided to fight for a cause they believe was worth fighting for Freedom.

I can guarantee no one will forget the confederate battle flag. I understand it’s history and it has its place but to fly it as it is equal too the American flag it has no place. As black American things like the confederate flag or a monument doesn’t bother me or any way I think.

When the battle flag was used in the civil war it wasn’t racist, but now it is, but I do understand why your saying.
