AHHH! I love Lord Farquad! His father was a dwarf which is why he's so short. He ended up becoming ruler of Dulock which he worked to make as "perfect" in his eyes as he could. This included getting rid of all the fairytale creatures (even though he was half fairytale creature). So he was kind of Hitler in a sense, trying to make a perfect kingdom without the "blemishes" of other "inferior races".
