1. She was talking about how she shouldn’t be forced to pledge allegiance to Israel in order to serve her country
2. The tweet refers to AIPAC, which exists solely to influence American politicians to do the bidding of Israel. She also criticized the Saudi lobby. Does that make her an islamaphobe?
3. This tweet came during the 2012 Gaza bombing by Israel, in which they committed war crimes. This has nothing to do with the Jewish people. Criticizing an oppressive government does not equate to antisemitism.
4. BDS is not inherently antisemitic. It sheds light on Israeli human rights violations. It has nothing to do with the Jewish religion.
5. Her resolution affirmed the right to boycott, a constitutional right. That tweet came in the wake of anti-BDS legislation that threatened the first amendment. In the resolution she gave examples of boycotts on Nazi germany, South Africa apartheid, imperialist japan, the Soviet Union, etc. Only the boycott of Nazi Germany is used to accuse Omar of antisemtism. The mental gymnastics is astounding.
6. White nationalists supported Andrew yang. Does that mean yang is a white nationalist?
Yeah, the right is really reaching here. They’ll bitch and moan about false cries of bigotry in one sentence, than accuse anyone that disagrees with Israel as an anti Semite in the next. It really is amazing how many people still fall for this.
