Absolutely not. But sometimes things escalate and the officer has to make a decision to protect himself and the public from a potentially armed suspect that's on the loose. I wouldn't want anyone who is running from the police to run into a shop my mother is at. Things don't escalate if the stopped/questioned/arrested person complies with the officer.

As someone who lives in a country with guns, I have to have the understanding and take the responsibility that the officer will have to do whatever (within law) to secure an unfamiliar to him situation. Therefore, it's imperative that I comply. Any resistance will be seen as a threat. If I did nothing wrong, all it happened is a talked to a cop for a bit. Big deal.

-The number of whites killed by police more than doubles that of blacks killed by police.
-Chance of non-white officer killing a white suspect is 3 times that of a white officer killing a black suspect.

I think whites should protest more when the cops shoot an innocent white person.
