Even then they could lie. I simply assume everyone is an adult and treat them as such until they prove otherwise.

Yes, anyone could lie about it, but if they are 13 and they claim they're 25, you treat them as they're 25. If they are 13 and claim to be 13, then you treat them as 13. I think most wouldn't lie about it unless they're under 13 just to be able to create a profile here.

I don't think that's a good idea. Age is pretty much a personal information, and personal information is what pedophiles use to stalk people.

Plus, kids can sometimes lie about their age
