But that's what sda is up to with their false works-based gospel, which is nothing new and just a repackaging of the same old heresy from way back at the beginning of the Church. SDA is not helping anyone and is instead putting people under a curse. That's what the Scripture says. You know, we can't even keep the first commandment. How many of us have loved the Lord our God with all your heart, mind, and strength every single day, perfectly? Don't say you have, or you'll also be guilty of violating the ninth commandment against lying. I'm just trying to help you. But my point is that we can't even make it past one requirement to achieve our own salvation without Jesus. It ain't gonna happen. We need Christ. It's the same with the Mormons. It's just another works-based cult. Cults are always works based! They start by getting their source of authority wrong and then all their other doctrine tumbles downhill from there. Ultimately, they get the wrong way to heaven because they don't trust in the free work of Christ alone that can't be used to control others.
