I'm not saying things aren't expensive and that sometimes getting a job may not always be easy, but my pastor has in many occasions walked up to ppl on corners (some with kids they have claimed were hungry) and he came to them with bags of groceries, which they turned down bc they wanted cash ONLY. They could not have been that hungry if they won't accept groceries. He even offered to directly pay 2 of any of their bills directly or put gas in their vehicles.... each time they refused all of the offer, and only wanted cash. He never gives cash bc likely they will buy drugs or alcohol. So, this is what my meme is referring to.... not being cold towards these ppl.
