I’m not trying to send hate to the creator or anything I just think it’s unfair that stuff like the 2003 CN cartoon gets way less attention compared to the sequels, and Disney also de-canonized a lot of really good comics, books and even the aforementioned Tartakovsky cartoon and yet stuff like the sequels gets soooo much more attention than SW 2003 Solo, Rouge One and many more. Let’s be honest here when was the last time you saw 2003, Solo, or Rouge one merchandise compared to The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise Of Skywalker. Also don’t even get STARTED ON THE MESS TAHT IS JJ Abrams, and Rian Johnson and their different views on the series and how Rian Johnson wants X and sets stuff up for X to happen and then JJ steps in and says NOPE ( further details in video below ) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JM1GyLLmx-E
. On a different note, why does Rey get a yellow saber at the very end of the movie like wtf. There are soo many GLARING plotholes and they just disregard SOOOOO MUCH STUFF, like with the rule of two, established by Darth Bane there can be two sith, there is Sheev Palpatine ( Darth Sideous ) and Kylo Ren, Palpatine knows of Kylo’s existence and still insists on having Rey turn to the dark side and be his apprentice. Overall I hate the sequels and Clone wars, 2003, Rouge one, and Solo are LEAGUES better.

I appreciate and respect your opinion as well. I can say that I am a newer Star Wars fan than those who were there since the originals; I only really committed to this fandom after The Force Awakens came out (which is why the sequels mean a lot to me). However, I do agree that the sequel trilogy could have been executed a lot more smoothly, especially if the two directors even seemed to communicate about what they wanted the trilogy’s plot line to be. What with the rule of two, I have two theories: one, Palpatine planned to execute Ren and replace him with Rey, or two, the unique Force bond between Ren and Rey could possibly allow them both to be apprentices (Palpatine describes them as a dyad, “two that are one”).
In all honesty, my favorite parts of the sequels were 1) probably my ship prediction (Reylo) being correct and 2) the two frames of lesbian representation in TROS. I’m mostly here for the memes and some cool fanart, otherwise I’m pretty casual.

Some people (like me) where born later on and never saw the originals in theaters. In fact, the only trilogy I saw in theaters was the sequels. Personally I loved watching them and still do, but I some how remember the prequels and originals better. I think people don't give enough love to rouge one, solo, or books that where written and are now considered legends.
My point being is that the sequels, yes had plot holes but were still good and are taking the fame of some of the other movies that came out more recently. I appreciate all Star Wars and it has been a part of my life for a long time (don't hate, but for a while I hated it. Now I love it)
