As an American, I'd like to clarify that if the people doing it get violent, then it's not a protest, but a riot.
I really don't want legitimate peaceful protesting to get a bad name, as of the fact that it is a precious God-given right of ours, enshrined in our Constitution, that I don't want to ever get taken away. 🇺🇸
