I mean, WHY are there preschool kids on YouTube. YouTube is a social media app made ONLY for those about 12 and up, but it's because of those kids that COPPA had to come in

Damn, isn't YouTube chock full of "kid friendly PG clean" videos which are actually made for messed up teenagers? There are better options in Netflix and Nick JR, but I guess parents are a bit dumb these days.

I used to go onto YouTube once, and after my mum caught me looking at dodgy videos, she pretty much took the tablet away, and I had to look at kid friendly stuff on Netflix instead.

Am I the only one who knows why so many kids are on YouTube? It’s because YouTube is available as a website and not just an app, so kids on iPads with app restrictions have easy access to it. It’s dumb. They should just take down the website, problem solved

Better yet, they should just tell parents not to download the app for kids 12 and under, and instead give them a proper kids section like in Netflix and Nick Jr.

But then you wouldn't be able to ever use it on desktop...
